Fantasia Fair is a week-long transgender event held every October in
the GLBT resort town of Provincetown, Massachusetts. The Fair is a
“full immersion” experience, meaning that attendees can and usually do
spend an entire week living 24/7 presenting their gender as they
wish. Fantasia Fair started in 1975, “FanFair” is the oldest and
longest-running gathering of transgender persons for mutual education,
support, collaboration and socializing.
