Come join us for our monthly social in our very own private banquet room at our regular hotel. There will be dinner, friendship, and a good time for all. Who will win this month's free door prize drawing? Be there for all the fun!

Doors open at 6:30, dinner served at 7:30.

Choose from one of three dinner entrees:

1) Tarragon Chicken

2) Beer-Braised Pork Loin

3) Spinach and Feta Pasta (vegetarian)

Meals come with salad, bread, Tazo iced tea, dessert, and coffee. Tax and gratuity are included for a total price of $25 per person. There will also be a full no-host bar in the room, with our own bartender.

You must RSVP by noon 3 days before the social on Wednesday 10th. We will try to accommodate last-minute RSVPs whenever possible, but to guarantee your spot, please respond by the deadline. You may cancel an RSVP any time prior to the deadline; after the deadline, you will be responsible for the cost of your meal even if you do not attend.

Special note: We will have a designated changing room at the hotel so that you can change on-site. It will be available from 5:00pm.

Drab Gab

The Drab Gab is a group that meets for support, friendship, and discussion. Attendees are asked to come in drab only (male attire). This group is open to anyone who is interested, and is especially intended for those who may not feel ready or able to attend events en femme due to personal circumstances.

What do we talk about at the Drab Gabs? Anything and everything! The discussion is always lively and your privacy is always respected.

The Drab Gab will be held at a casual, affordable Sacramento restaurant.

When you RSVP, your email will be forwarded to the Drab Gab organizers, Sharon and Calie, who will send you the location.

Dress Barn Private Shopping

The Dress Barn store will be closing its doors to the public at 7pm, and welcoming the Gems and friends for our third annual private shopping event!

This is your chance to try on Dress Barn's entire selection of stylish clothing in sizes 4-24. With skirts, pants, blouses, sweaters, jackets, dresses, and even accessories and jewelry, Dress Barn has all the right pieces to put together an outfit or a whole wardrobe. Their clothing line is reasonably priced, and there are always great bargains in the clearance section. Plus, everyone will receive a special coupon good for 15% off your entire purchase.

We'll have the whole store to ourselves, and with 16 dressing rooms, you won't have to stand in line. We'll have two full hours to browse, chat, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and sparkling cider while we shop!

Our Dress Barn shopping trip is always one of our most popular events of the year. The Dress Barn staff is wonderful and gives each and every shopper personalized attention and expert fashion advice. They are eager to welcome us back for another evening of shopping and socializing. The store is located in a quiet shopping center with plenty of parking near the entrance.

This event is for everyone, from seasoned shoppers to those who have never shopped for women's clothing in a mainstream store. Spouses, family, and friends are welcome too! You may attend en femme or in drab, whichever is more comfortable for you.

You can bring your donations to any Gems event between now and then, and we'll get them tagged, organized, and ready for someone else to try on and take home. Give your closet a makeover, and share what you no longer wear!
